Apollo will be the one to mend the relationship between his parents, Rebecca and Frankie, after their official separation two years ago. Regardless of their status, Frankie still sends gifts and cards every year on Apollo’s birthday because of his lasting love for the dog and his ex-partner. The latest gift received was a heartfelt letter and a Petco Gift Card, and Rebecca was in tears.
Just because the two are separated does not automatically mean that they no longer love each other. Rebecca appreciated Frankie’s efforts and shared the heartwarming experience online.
She met Frankie in her teenage years when they were still in high school and exchanged wedding vows after they finished college. Frankie was part of the Marines, and their next move was to move out of Texas and fell in love with one-month-old Apollo, whom they adopted and raised as if he was their child. And just like an infant, he was always doing something that he shouldn’t be doing at all and was always destroying everything they gave him the upon the moment they presented it to him.
Despite his rebellious attitude, he was still loved by everyone around them and was spoiled rotten. And just like every couple, the pair soon had problems they had to deal with, and there were conflicts that they cannot avoid. Rebecca said that they were married pretty young, and they needed time to grow up.
The path of love was never easy nor straightforward, and they soon came to decide that a separation would be necessary. It’s been two years, and neither of them has filed a divorce. Apollo will never forget about Frankie even after Rebecca decided to take him.
Frankie still visits Apollo whenever he visits his family, and Apollo goes overjoyed whenever his father would arrive. The letter Frankie sent Apollo was long and sincere, and the message ends with telling Apollo to always stay with Rebecca and be there for her like he [Apollo] was for him [Frankie].

Rebecca said that it was a wild ride of emotions, and both their families hoped that the two of them would have matters settled and be finally together again. Everyone wished the best for the two of them, and they all agreed that Apollo would be the way to have them reconcile.
