Often believed, dogs and kids make the best companions. What’s more exceptional is that they slowly learn and develop to be with each other, even in the not-so-pleasant moments in life.
This toddler and his furry best friend made some buzz on Twitter when an account called @akkitwts shared a clip of their innocent love for each other.
The clip shows how the toddler comforts his frightened best friend over the sound of thunderstorms. The brave little man stands guard of his golden retriever and protects him from the awful sounds.
The one-minute clip shows the toddler patting the head of his distressed pal countless times and talking to him softly.
The two appeared to have been hiding in the washroom. It was where the dog must have run off to escape from the sounds of thunder.
Together they stayed, finding comfort from each other. Now looking at his best friend, this dog seemed to have understood the toddler’s thoughts and calms for a moment.
According to Pets WebMD, fear of thunder is common in dogs, and it often triggers panic and stress on their part. In fact, one research stated that ‘dogs experience painful shocks from static build-up before the storm.’
The toddler should have been rewarded for knowing this at a young age. But for now, his treats include overflowing praise all over the internet.
Many have commended the little guy for having the sweetest heart when it’s most needed. He has been nicknamed as ‘superhero in diapers’ on social media.
A user name called @DigglesMother wrote that it made her cry because it was so sweet and beautiful. @Mini_bubbly, on the other hand, predicts that the boy will become a good person.
The video was a huge hit and has racked up to over 8 lakh views and more than 67,000 likes. The clip was also featured in Reddit, which garnered 1,000 votes in less than a week.
