Pit Bull Jumps Into Couple’s Truck And Stays In Their Hearts Forvever

Pit Bull Jumps Into Couple’s Truck And Stays In Their Hearts Forvever

Scott Fannin May 1, 2020

Emily and Garrett were on their way home from doing Yoga when a dog jumped into their truck as they were opening their gate. The couple was shocked to see that a Pit Bull has made himself comfortable inside their vehicle. At first, the couple was afraid of what just happened and didn’t know what to do.

But the two quickly realized that the pittie was friendly. It moved from the front seat to the back and just lay down at the seat. Garrett reached out and petted the dog on his head, and the dog wagged its tail. This removed any of the fears they may have about the dog being aggressive. But their next problem is getting the dog out of the car.

Finding a new buddy

The couple was not really in any hurry to get the dog out. They let him be comfortable inside their truck. But they knew that eventually, he had to come out. So they offered him some food and also gave him some water. It took the couple around two hours to get the Pit Bull out and into their home.

Once inside, the dog, which they named Buddy, found himself a place to crash, and he slept the whole night. The next day, Emily and Garrett took Buddy to the vet and also tried to see if anybody owned him. Deep inside, Emily wished that nobody did; she already fell in love with the dog. They didn’t have any plans of adopting a dog, but when they learned that Buddy was homeless, they decided instantly to take him in.

But three weeks after opening their doors to Buddy, they lost him. They were out for a walk when the dog smelled something in the nearby woods. The dog rushed in, and they never saw him again that day. Emily was beside herself. She did everything she could to locate Buddy. She went to shelters, gave out flyers, and put up posters. She was relentless in her search.

Then good news came. A shelter she previously visited contacted her and told Emily that they found Buddy. After that, they made sure that Buddy had a GPS tracker and a name tag with his name and their cellphone number. They are not taking any more chances. They love Buddy so much.
