Conley, the puppy, didn’t have the best start in life. A severe fracture caused disability to his back legs. But despite that, Conley is still the happiest, silliest, and most adorable special needs pup you’ll meet today.
Conley, the special needs dog
Most people would shy away from adopting disabled animals, thinking that they cost more time, money, and effort to take care of. Conley experienced this first hand. When he first arrived at a shelter, they noticed that there’s something wrong with his back legs right away. They sent him to be put down, but Tails of Hope Medical Foster intervened.
Thanks to Tails of Hope, Conley got the space and resources he needs to recover. Unfortunately, the fracture on his back legs has also affected his spine. It’s nearly impossible to regain the use of his back legs. Conley accepted his fate with a positive perspective, showing everyone that not being able to walk or run on his four feet is not the end of him.
Tails of Hope wish to do everything it possibly can to help Conley live a good life, so they’ve custom-fitted him with a wheelchair. Since then, Conley would be zooming in and out. As for his rehabilitation, Tails of Hope has put Conley on water therapy and acupuncture.
An incredible display of positivity
It’s impressive how unbothered Conley is with his disability. He doesn’t mind that he is different from the other dogs. He plays and runs like any typical pup. He loves getting attention from humans and animals. Conley is radiating so much positivity it rubs off to everyone he meets.
Tails of Hope fervently prays that someone would eventually give Conley the love of family. Although Conley has special needs, it is not difficult to love him. His back legs will not slow him down. For him, you only move forward in life.
