One woman was browsing on Facebook when she came across a rescue group’s post about a yellow Labrador named Stevie, who needed a new home. The girl shared that the following year, she saw Stevie on the shelter’s page again because he needed to be rehomed for the second time.
The woman recalled that she saw Stevie on the rescue group’s page after another year because he needed to be rehomed for the third time. She admitted that she felt terrible because Stevie still has not found his fur-ever home despite being adopted thrice.

Luckily, the woman and her partner were thinking of adopting a dog that was considered an unadoptable one. She talked to Stevie’s breeder and asked if Stevie could visit her home and meet him.
The woman shared that when Stevie arrived, he suddenly became so excited after seeing a puddle that he immediately ran towards it and started making a splash. She recalled that Stevie jumped and down and looked like he was having the time of his life.
The woman knew that having Stevie around would be an exciting turn of events, so she decided to adopt Stevie. She shared that from the moment Stevie arrived, he quickly made himself at home.
The woman shared that Stevie was born with a neurological disorder. She shared that Stevie has trouble getting his four legs to work simultaneously because of his condition, which was why her dog always looks like he is dancing all the time.
Stevie’s mama shared that Stevie is an independent dog despite his condition because he can climb up and down the stairs and couch on his own. However, Stevie is prone to falling, so they made sure to make their house a safer home for their yellow Lab.
Stevie’s mama shared that Stevie loves splashing in the puddle whenever he is not busy stealing things at home. She said having Stevie around has made their home a happier one because of how much of a jolly dog Stevie is.
