Shelter dogs need a family to take care of them. They need someone to love them regardless of their breed and unhappy past. Shelter dogs deserve a home that can keep them warm during cold winter nights.
Dog lovers desire to give dogs the wonderful lives that they deserve. However, due to limited resources, they cannot take all the dogs from the shelter.
One person cannot decide which dog to adopt at the shelter, so she took all dogs to give them better lives.
Danielle Eden of Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary in Ontario, Canada, is visiting animal shelters all over the world. Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary was founded in 2014 together with her husband, Rob. Danielle and Rob have been actively involved in doing rescue missions before they decided to put up their rescue center for the dogs.
Danielle brings the dogs they rescue internationally at Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary.
One of the most memorable dog shelter visits Danielle had was in Israel.
The dog shelter visit in Israel was the worst that Danielle has seen. Two hundred fifty (250) dogs are housed in the shelter meant for 70 dogs only. Dogs in the shelter are not well-fed; they always fight for the food given to them.
Another problem is that the shelter is infested with rats.
Danielle wants to adopt a dog from the shelter but she is having a hard time choosing which dog to bring in Canada. She knows that all the dogs in the shelter need help.
Danielle did the most amazing thing: she bought the entire shelter!
Danielle is determined to help all the dogs in the shelter. She wants to find a home for every dog there.
Two months after she has bought the shelter, she was able to relocate 90 dogs in Israel. She has brought 25 dogs to Ontario to help these dogs find their forever homes. The remaining dogs are still in Israel, and Danielle is determined to bring all of them in Ontario once their health improves. Veterinarians are always checking the dogs to make sure that they’re healthy.
Danielle is one individual with a heart of gold! Danielle and her husband continue to search for dogs all over the world to give them amazing lives.
