Zuri blends in with almost all the objects available in her home ever since she was a little puppy without actually knowing it. Zuri’s mom, Apra Jain, recalled that Zuri is so good at doing camouflage that she often struggles to find the dog in her own house.
Apra shared that she particularly struggles in finding Zuri whenever she lays beside any black-colored object at home. She also recalled that there were times when she and her family spent many minutes looking for Zuri when the pup was just peacefully sleeping under the table all along.
Apra shared that she and her family always put Zuri in random things such as bags and laundry baskets ever since she was a puppy because of how lightweight and small enough she is to fit in any container. She said that it was easier for everyone to get Zuri from place to place, so they do it.
Apra said that there was also a time when she was busy doing the laundry when she noticed that Zuri was actually comfortably cuddled up in the laundry basket. Then, she realized that if anyone who does not know who Zuri was, they would surely think that the black furry lump lying in the hamper was a fuzzy mat.
Apra said that it has always been quite tricky to tell Zuri’s head area apart from her backside because she looks like a big black cozy rug whenever she is lying down. She admitted that it became even more challenging to tell when she saw Zuri in the basket.
Apra knew she could not pass up the opportunity to take a picture of her dog’s amazing disappearing act, so she posted Zuri’s photo online for everyone to see. Many people were surprised because Zuri does indeed look like she is a black rug.
