Dogs love food so much they won’t allow anyone to touch it while they’re eating. Canines even growl in warning to prevent other animals from stealing a bite or two from their meal.
Yet, a rescued Bull Terrier and magpie peacefully munch on their lunch like it’s the most normal thing to do. Even as the pup’s busy appreciating its food, it doesn’t growl in warning or send its magpie friend away.
Yum, yum, yum!
In this heartwarming footage, two animals stand near a food bowl brimming with dog food. One of the animals’ a magpie named Maggie, while the other animal’s a mix-furred canine named Elvy.
With the way it looks, Maggie wants to taste Elvy’s food as she holds a biscuit in her beak. But, the magpie’s sneaky moves didn’t escape the Bull Terrier’s keen eyesight as she keeps a close watch on the bird.
After a few seconds of incessantly staring at the magpie, Elvy leaves her be and moves towards her area. Maggie and the Bull Terrier then start munching on their meal, sharing the food inside the bowl.
How do you like it, Maggie?
As the video progressed, Maggie and Elvy carry on with their eating spree, munching on every morsel inside the metal container. Even as the Bull Terrier glances at the room while eating, the magpie merely carries on with her buffet.
At some point, Maggie and Elvy take turns eating their meal, alternately dipping their heads to get their share. Whenever the doggo’s done chewing her meal, Maggie steps back and allows Elvy to scoop another mouthful of biscuits.
