A woman was having a typical beach day with her family in Puerto Rico when a hairless puppy decided to invite himself in. With his skinny and hairless body, Toby wagged his tail hello to the whole family. Chelsey couldn’t believe that this puppy is still so cheerful and friendly despite his condition.
The family decided to let the hairless puppy join them. As they played with Toby, they soon found out how good of a boy he is. The dog felt safe, happy, and grateful to be with them, lying on the sand and playing with everyone.
It was then that they made Toby an official member of the family. But perhaps, he already was the moment he came up to them at the beach.
The next day, Toby was on his way to the vet. Chelsey felt relieved that he is finally getting the attention that he deserves. In his first week, Toby was already exploring his foster home. He perhaps understood that he is finally not alone anymore.
The following week, Toby’s skin started showing signs of improvement with less redness and scabs. Jumping to Toby’s fifth week, who would’ve thought that Toby’s fur was black and not gray? Aside from being completely healed, Toby is visibly happier as well.
Toby, the hairless puppy that Chelsey rescued had turned into a beautiful black dog. He is just the sweetest, most appreciative dog ever. Toby’s positive energy and love shines through even with everything that he has gone through before that day at the beach. She can only see pure love and gratitude in Toby’s clear, bright eyes every time he looks at her.
Chelsey, as Toby’s foster mom, believed that someone deserves this amazing dog somewhere out there. After a few days, Toby was ready to meet his new family and to be in his forever home. It’s truly a blessing for Chelsey to be a part of this unique dog’s fantastic journey to happiness and love.
